does anyone have experience with the Advance parole form 131? How long does it take to come through once mailed in? I did not see any examples of the form and how to fill it out.
Is it easy to get one, should I buy a ticket first or wait for the approval?
Any advice would be great

Here's the example form for the I-131.
Generally I'd wait until you get the approval before you purchase your ticket, in case there's a delay in processing your case. Timelines are saying that it's taking around two months to get an approved AP.
