I have been reading this forum for a while now trying to see how applications are being handled and to see people's experience in the Inmigration Process.
Today I am posting because I am just frustrated. I applied to remove the Conditions on my Conditional Permanent Residency Card in July of 06. I went for biometrics on July 07 but I have not heard of my case since then. I have been calling every 30 days to see what is taking so long and one of the letters I received said that my case is "Waiting to be Reviewed by an Officer" What does it mean? Have anybody had this type of answer before? How long do you think before I get some sort of answer?
What have I done since receiving the letter dated Sep 19th?
I also made an infopass appt for this coming Tuesday to inquire about my case once again as I don't think the 1-800 line is very helpful. I also submitted my application for Citizenship this week so hopefully it will expedite things.

What is your input on the answer that was provided in the letter? Thanks,
tweety
Did you apply with TSC (Texas Service Center)?

edited to add: nvm, just found it myself, you applied with NSC
It's Melvin

Generally, it means that they aren't doing anything, and that someone will get to your file when they feel like working on them or don't have anything better to do.

Did you receive a new extension on your conditional GC?

That is what I thought but I was trying to be optimistic.

I have a stamp on my passport extending the GC for another 6 months.
