Right at the top right hand corner of the page there is a review button for POE under the pics of the couples. smile.gif You might start there. smile.gif

Are you flying or driving across?

If you are flying out of Toronto, you will need to pick up and fill out an I-94 form before you get into the US Customs lineup. Present that, along with your passport and MBE (mysterious brown envelope) to the officer. He/she will send you back through the closed doors on the right-hand side into secondary. The officer at the desk will take your documents and tell you to have a seat. Then he/she will call you up to take your biometrics and you're on your way. You don't have to pay for the I-94 when you fly.

Sounds painless enough. The I-94 is just for me or do i fill one out for my daughter as well? i will be flying from Sudbury and connecting in Toronto, so i guess i may have to get a flight with a couple hours inbetween flights to Raleigh.

Ohhh, good question stacy. I'll also be flying out of Toronto with my son next Friday. All I know is give youself plenty of time. Better to be hours early for your flight, then an hour late.

Yes, you'll need to fill one out for your daughter as well. They're on the kind of cubby-like table against the wall before you enter Customs. And, yes, you'll need to give yourself lots of time before catching your next flight to Raleigh. They may have you processed through in half an hour, they may take longer. It all depends upon the volume that they're dealing with. Don't hesitate to speak up if it's busy and you're worried about missing your flight. They might give you a hard time but they'll look after you. If you're flying around Thanksgiving or Christmas, give yourself TONS of time.

You can pack your x-rays in your checked luggage. You won't need them. Just bring the envelope that says "DO NOT OPEN".
