Yes it does seem like they have slowed down alot lately. Just not enough approvals sent out as we all hoped for.
Im sorry they hung up on you, THAT i have never had happen with them.

I haven't seen many posts for NOAs out of CSC lately but then again, I haven't seen many posts for any of the service centers.

For the I-130 they seem to have speeded up a lot, you might want to so people can see when you mailed & when you got your NOA1

Currently at 9 months out, issue yeah you could call it that. I just recieved an email last week stating that the application was requested for processing. Of course I don't know when it was requested so who knows.

I've never been hung up on, not sure what you did to deserve that. I've only had 1 of 5 people I call express sympathy and she wasn't much actual help.

The calling center isn't always the nicest people. Our petition was returned to California for further review by the consulate. When I called and asked if there was some sort of timeline I could watch to see when they would be working with a case like ours I was told that cases like ours aren't high priority. When I said, how will I know what to expect for a processing period I was told "listen, this is the price you pay for marrying a foreigner".

Now I understand we all have to wait our turn, but come one now, at least tell up a month, a few months, a year...whatever. Not, when they get around to it!

That is totally f*@ked up!!! I have to believe that if their supervisor found out about what they said, that some sort of repremand would take place. Sounds like they need some "sensitivity" training.

Hey it could be worse- In Texas, they are only now processing I-130s for Permanant residents filing for unmarried children over 21 that were received in January of 1999.
