good morning everyone, Im still feeling sleepy this morning. i never did get to try a pumpkin latte, i wonder if they still sell them till thanksgiving. This morning i actually got to see snow flurries today. i think it's time to buy some new ice-scrapers for the cars. There is nothing worse than letting your defrost thaw the ice before you can leave.

Yea, Monday is gone

32 flippin degrees here, and chance of snow flurries today. I really need to think about buying a winter coat. Is it really November already? Seems like I have been in a 4 month fog. (puff, choke, cough......oh, that's smoke, never mind)

Morning everyone!

It's raining. I'm mailing my wedding invitations...I know it's wicked late to be doing so but everyone already told me if they're coming or not and the 4 I'm mailing is just because they asked for proper invitations...hahaha!

My uncle is helping me with the wedding and we started buying duplicate things so now we're trying to iron out things we have to return--I bought 16 plastic crappy table covers, my uncle rented actual linens...lol...sooooo I have to add "rushing around to return stuff" to my big to-do list.

Pumpkin spice stuff is still at Starbucks for the time being...





I have myspace! For a while I was trying to do a weekly update to keep my friends and old co-workers posted on Ramy's immigration/wedding plans but the closer we get to the wedding the more my posts have just become bullet points because I'm so tired!

I also have a blogger account where I started the ME/NA VJ stories, but...I haven't posted yet either. I have two other blogs on blogger, one about "Is this your license plate" and another about local (CT/RI) history and abandoned houses.

And I have livejournal too, which is almost the same as the myspace but I had that first. lol

Can't decide if I have jetlag or a bad flu....... I feel like ****

7-11 has pretty decent pumpkin lattes. Not as good as Starbucks prolly but still good. The best pumpkin spiced coffee I've had is the kind we have at work. They're the K-cups from Green Mountain. Green Mountain Pumpkin Spice coffee plus French Vanilla Coffeemate=delicious!

I want a Keurig (sp?) coffee maker for Christmas from my family. I'm sick of cleaning the one I have now and I don't really mind the taste of the k-cups. I like the eggnog flavor.


Still nauseous and still at work. Took 1/2 a prednisone so hopefully that will help.

Coming back is so hard the first week or so. Remember when I got pneumonia less than a week after I got back? Seems I always get sick right when I get home. Hope you feel better!

Tuesday long day at school for 3 more weeks not incudling the holiday break and the finals week.



I hope everyone gets warmed up and feeling better. This time of year I get a bag of nectarines a box of Lipton black tea, some honey, and a couple things of Airborne, and pull out my trusty mentoletam for those chapped lips and skins. All this helps boost my immune system, keep me hydrated, and keep my throat well. The black tea has 150 more antioxidents than coffee or orange juice, and the vitamin C in the little nectarines doesn't hurt either. Espeically with the change in conditions outside to cooler harsher elements.

Time to look for that sweater box now that I think of it.

new dvd releases...i kinda want to see sicko. has anyone else seen it? ratatouille was cute, but i don't think oliver loved it enough to spend $25 to buy it.

I just saw "Gone baby, gone" and I thought it was really good. I also liked "The Darjeeling Limited" a lot too. Next up is "Lars and the real girl".

Goodmorning all! OMG it is so freeking cold and windy outside. And i still need to get a few things for my trip. But I much ratter stay home in my jammys all day and be a lounge lizard. I think I will have to pay a extra fee for my baggage cus there stuffed 16 more days till take off

Well it is bright and sunny, this morning I was cold and complaining cos it was 54 and today it will get 79. Central California weather is great most of the time. Don't know that I could handle living in areas where I had to shovel snow or scrape the window, I think I could visit for a short time but that would be it, to much of a difference but i am sure that it is the same for others cos we have adjusted to the climets that we live in. I guess I am too much a creature of habit.

OMG I just bought my baby (dog) a new pink parka with a furry hood. So she can stay warm in this cold Illinois weather.

no, I dont even own a jacket (a warm one anyway)... I guess I get to go shopping!

Ok this is gonna sound real stupid but today is the first day my husband and I are apart since we got married. I didn't think I would be bothered by it but for lame reason I am. He took my parents and his parents to Los Angeles for a funeral and they will all be gone for 2 days.

They wouldn't allow me to come either, they said that new brides are not allowed to mourn . So now I'm home alone for 2 days. I don't know if anyone in the LA area saw the news a few days ago, but there was a train accident that involved 2 young ladies in Riverside, one of which was his cousin. She was only 23, God rest her soul.

this petition has been floating around for a few months. It is an emotional plea and does not provide any real directives on how to fix specific hiccups & missteps USCIS doles out on separated families. For real reform, support a lobbying effort. Of course this is just my honest opinion and I am in no way suggesting anyone not sign this, but it is my opinion that this will do little but be tossed into a circluar file/shredder for several reasons.

How's everyones evening? I am at my desk, chillin. Should be doing paperwork, but tommorrow is another day. Why do today what you can put off til tommorrow? I don't want to cheat out Wednesday and have nothing to do.

Ya know that huge azz building I have been posting pics of?.....well, today the builder sent over selections for the flooring. This means I have to go in that 3-story building and measure it this week. Of course there is no heat in it. I peeked in it last week, it is HUGE inside.
