my husband had his interview at NEW DELHI. he did not receive the visa because they said our I-134 was not accurate. I used my uncle as our co-sponsor and he is a doctor. his income is over 290,000 dollars, and he is able to support over 20 people. however, they said that they have to have his wife's signature on the same I-134 or or on a separate I-134. they file jointly I AM SHOCKED. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

the WORST PART IS THAT MY AUNT IS OUT OF THE COUNTRY AND WON'T BE BACK FOR 2 MONTHS...SO I CAN'T EVEN GET HER SIGNATURE.

i can have my other uncle's I-134 shipped overnight...but they specifically said they wan't my aunt's.. is there a way i can get this changed. NEW DELHI IS HARASSING PEOPLE.

That is awful Neel06! cray5ol.gif

It is true Delhi is famous for harassing people and requesting really ridiculous things. protest6wz.gif But all you can do at this point is try to provide what they want.

Surely your aunt will have an address somewhere, you can courier her the papers and get them back within a week. Can your uncle call her and get the temp address for you?

Also, there is protocol for extending the approval of I-129F, maybe it is similar for the K3, the link on VJ is here:

Extending Approval

We send our prayers to you for a successful approval as soon as possible. rose.gif

Neel, can you not get the second signature? Else, I think it is okay to get another I-134 from your other uncle as your co-sponsor...the other more experienced members can comment if this would not be acceptable at this stage.. it seems to me as long as you meet the required guidelines, it should not matter if you changed your co-sponsor, you can always explain that your aunt is not reachable right now.
Jas also recently changed his co-sponsor and the embassy seemed okay with that.

Your processing is on hold until you provide the required paperwork and all will be fine - please do not worry.

i wish i could send my aunt's information. she is vacation with her family in nepal. i have not been in touch with them and they won't be back for another month.

i called department of state and they were as confused as I am- they did not know why there is another need for I-134 when the co-sponsor fully meets the requirement.
