I was looking for a thread on montreal interview times after nvc process complete, great! finally found it. Montreal seems to have speeded up interview dates for 2008 (2- 3months). Inkypinky your nvc process seems prettly quick (1 to 2 months), did you do follow james shortcut? If both my I-130 & I-129f get approved, I will just go thru the IR-1 process in Montreal instead of K3.

We are not on the list, and don't really need to be.....We have been dragging our butts for 4 years doing our Immigration (we are here on K3/K4) but I thought I would just post FYI our case was completed at NVC on July 2/08 and we just got our interview letters today (August 8/08) stating that our interviews have been scheduled for September 16/08.....Of course we have gone this way twice now so we don't have to go through the package 3 process, so I don't know if that makes any difference for anyone else that completed at NVC close to the same time as us.....Good luck to everyone.....Praise the Lord I don't have to do this again for 10 years

Hey, I found this and wondered if I could be added.

My NOA2 for the I130 was 9/12/2008, the date on the AOS bill and case number was 9/24/2008, I paid the AOS bill online on 9/30 and the system shows it was paid on 10/1. I printed off the Cover sheet and overnighted the I-864 and documents as well as the DS3032 for my husband today and it should be at the NVC by Monday before 3pm.

Does it really matter if you call or not? I'm wondering how on top of the interview scheduling I need to stay.

I will update the list later, just wanted to answer this.

Call or don't call, it's completely up to you - it doesn't matter.

That said, I would recommend that you at least call them on the 3rd Friday of each month, if you haven't received the interview letter, because letters have been known to get lost and you don't want to find out about your interview at the last minute or miss it altogether.

Ack. It would bite to miss notification after all of this time, wouldn't it!!! I'll ring Friday but wont' expect anything until next month. Thanks.

Just got through to NVC...

They just told me that they are doing the scheduling this week, for November.
