Wouldn't maja's DTI be 51 days? I could be way off or could have missed something, its been a long week! Just checkin'

Also, how long does it usually take for the NVC to complete the case after they actually receive the paperwork. They received our DS 230 packet on Dec 31st although the IVR says Jan 9th. The IVR says it takes 6-8 weeks to process the paperwork. Its hard to tell from the timeline how long it usually takes. I know the IVR cushions the time quite a bit (I hope anyway).

From what I have read it's around a week or two, I've seen many that only took a few days. I would think 2 weeks maximum.

Have you called NVC bearmirus? What's the scoop this month, have they said they are finished scheduling or?

Yep on all three counts. I called today around 1:30pm EST and here's the operator's (casey) word for word

"we just finish bookup up the month of February for Montreal and this case does not have an appointment scheduled on February please try us again at the end of the 3rd week of February to see if you have a march appointment"

oh well ... another 30-something days of waiting for me then...

Well that's a bummer. I would still call at the end of the week, just to make sure.

Turns out I'm in the same boat as some of you with a NVC case complete date of Dec 14, 2007. I called earlier today at about 3pm and the lady told me to call back on Friday as they aren't finished with the scheduling for Feb yet. (Hmmm)

Either way, I'm not really expecting a Feb interview seeing as how a lot of people who have been scheduled for there Feb Interviews have already gotten their Packet 4's. It would be a nice surprise though.

Hopefully we'll get in by March... hard to wait any longer....

I got exactly same message as bearmirus got at 6.30pm today. I think I will give it a try again on Friday see if they could schedule March interview. Trailmix got interview info in Dec for Feb one, so probably we could get interview info this month for March interview..... Seems lots people are on the same boat waiting for March interview. Good luck to us!

Thanks! well, actually pre-thanks, baby will be here any day (hour?) now...

Is there any other corrispondence we should have recieved since we sent in our RFE? i finaly called the automated system today, to find it was complete on dec 14th, but we never got anything in the mail.... Must be about time to start making some phone calls, make sure its not lost somewhere (granted, not really in a rush... still need another couple of months before the interview!)

Our case was completed on Dec 4th or Nov 29th (depending on who you speak to).

After the interview date was set I think we got the letter from NVC about a week, maybe 10 days later.

So your interview will hopefully be scheduled during the 2nd week of February (you can call NVC that week and the week after to find out if the interview date has been set) and then shortly after that you will get the interview letter.

So hopefully they should set your interview date for April - if they are still doing them like they have for the last few months.

Up until a few months ago it was taking them 4-6 months to interview.

Seems Feb interviews are scheduled up. Our case didn't get a chance to take a slot in Feb. Have to wait another month for interview....
Does this means MTL slows down again now? I would still be no worry if they could assign an interview in March, but hopefully not until April...........

Just a quick follow-up here.

I called this morning to double check and they told me the same thing as the first time. "Please call back during the third week of Feb to see if you have an interview in March".

Hmm, well that's blah for both of you. I wonder if this means Montreal is slowing down a bit. It seemed that it was not taking them that long to book, generally 2 months after completion at NVC - so following that logic, with both of you complete at NVC on December 14, you would think you would have been booked in January for an interview in March.

Did either of you have an operator who actually checked to see if Montreal had completed scheduling this month? If not I would still try calling back on Friday.

You know how when its one of those days you feel a bit ... ..blahhh ? Well, I was feeling that way and figured what do I have to lose by calling NVC a bit early that day (Feb 1st). Well, I called them just a bit after 7pm and they told me that they scheduled me that morning for the interview! Oh man.. was I ever felt like jumping over the moon!

The operator also advised me to wait until I get a letter in the mail for "modified" medical appointment. She wouldn't elaborate on what she means by "modifed". So I guess I have to wait a week or so before I find out what that means. I'll be sure to let you guys know too.

kcmetzy, there's still hope! Give NVC a hollar and perhaps your husband is all set!

I listened to voice message Sunday tonight once I saw Bearmirus exciting post here! My case is also forwarded to ML now. Not sure when is the interview date, must be around Bearmirus interview date since we complete cases on the same day.
Will post the interview date tomorrow once I called NVC.
I see some other people completed case in Dec, so all of them should get interview in March now. Finally ML is catching up...
