We eat chicken, turkey, seafood and beef. No pork for religious reasons. No lamb or mutton because husband and I don't really care for it.

I eat meat but don't actually have beef or pork that often, mostly chicken. Sometimes I have a good burger but usually it's chicken I'm eating.
Hubby is a lacto-ovo(I think that's right?) vegetarian. No meat at all. He does have some egg, but mostly eggbeaters for health reasons.

We are mostly a chicken/beef family. Hubster likes the occasional fish (I wont touch it with a 10-foot pole), and neither of us eats pork, he for religous reasons, me because Im just not into it.

I was an ovo-(sorta) lacto pescaterian for a while. I would really like to get back into it. I felt so much better then.
Now, I avoid as much red meat as possible. Lean ground beef is pretty much the limit for me. (oh and beef tounge!)
I do like chicken
pork I always feel a little sluggish after eating so I try not to eat too much
I love farm raised lamb, tastes better than store bought.
deer is awesome!
fish, I don't eat so much of except maybe fish n chips
shrimp! OMG I could eat them all day!
rabbit, only if we grew it or someone we know grew it. it's wonderful.
things like ostrich, alligator and such, around here it's always locally farm raised so I have no worries.
So when I was a pesceterian, I would only eat seafood but if someone went hunting and shot a deer, hog or anything else from a local farm I would eat it. I stayed away from the commercial stuff. Living by the gulf, there's no shortage of fresh fish and shrimp

Ok, since I started this poll, I guess I should answer it...
Try to limit red meat to once or twice a week, have fish at least twice a week, and the rest poultry. I'm trying to do more days where I have no meat at all, and going for other high protein sources like beans and lentils. I agree with kisschick in that farm raised (grass-fed, no hormone injected, etc) and/or free range meats really do taste so much better.

We eat seafood more often than anything: fresh fish, shrimp, clams, mostly.
If I go for too long without having red meat, I get vicious steak cravings.

Love meat (even used to work for the National Cattlemen's Beef Association

) but have cut back a bit recently. I like chicken, pork, fish, seafood, venison, bison, even had kangaroo once and it was great. Guess I am a pretty equal opportunity carnivore. But I do agree with Kisschick and Francis that free range is the way to go.

We don't eat a lot of red meat -mostly cause steaks & roast cost so much.
We eat mostly Chicken & Fish.. LOVE shellfish (esp. lobster), and lamb - but again it's too dear..
Have tried deer, shark, moose, buffalo, etc. Love those kind of "exotic" meats but again, can't afford to do that every day..
There are loads of times i could stick with just cheese or beans for my 'meat'.. sometimes I think I could go veggie..
But I do love a great Med-rare steak.. mmmmmmmmmmm with cheese on top.. mmmmmmmm

This week I've had duck bill, roast duck, chicken feet, rice gallore, various parts of cow, pig and chicken, all types of rice and grain noodles, tons of differant kinds of fish, shell fish and various types of shrimp and all sorts of fruits and veggies. I'm currently trying to convince my wife to let me eat dog or cat before I head back home but... no go. Oh well! I'll eat just about anything as long as it doesn't smell rancid and i'm at least 65% sure that i will not die from eating it.

We mostly eat chicken and pork with the occasional fish, and the VERY occasional burger or ground beefy-thing (if I don't use ground turkey to make it instead!) I don't like the taste or texture of beef and it really doesn't agree with my digestion.
