I'M NEW HERE. WHAT IS A "TOUCH?" i FIND THIS LISTED IN OTHERS TIME LINES. ANYBODY CAN HELP ME PLEASE.

A touch is just when the "Last Updated" date changes when you check your profile on the USCIS website.

would that be the case status search? I dont see a last updated, unless those words dont show until they do it.

You need to get a Receipt Number from USCIS. If you received the NOA1 letter, look for the Receipt Number. It starts out something like WACxxxxxxxxxx. Then you go here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/login.jsp
to register. Then you add your case to your Portfolio so that you can follow-up on the status. When your case gets updated with a new date from the last time you saw it, that considered as a "Touched." Hope that helps.

OH I see you login and the info is there.... ours is last updated 7/24/07 so nothing new
