Hello all,

For I-130, I know that for an Appointment Post, all papaerwork is submitted for NVC prior to going to Embassy.

But does the same procedure apply to the I-129F Fiance petition (K-1 Visa, not K-3). Do you know if they do the same thing at NVC, i.e. DS3032, AoS Fee Bill, IV Bill, DS-230 Parts I and II etc....or is it different in that NVC has minimal role, and Embassy does most of paperwork?? would really like to know...

Please advise.

Thanks a bunch!
YuAndDan
NVC assigns a case number, does a name check (AR), and sends it on to the consulate, they dont do much with I-129F Fiancee visas.

Even for Appointment Post embassies? So for I-209F Fiance petitions, the overseas embassy contacts the applicants directly, with all of their requiremnts for paperwork etc., and when ready they call up applicant for interview, correct?
Thanks.
