Hi This is about working after getting the greencard.

My husband has the K-1 visa still on his passport but he has gotten a job where he will be traveling. He has already gotten his greencard. When he travels and his passport shows the K-1 visa, won't that be a problem? Do I need to do anything about it? Will they just know? I'm really confused about this so a thorough explanation would be very very much appreciated!

Thank you!

They will ignore the visa when he hands them his greencard. Do not do anything to deface the passport.

The K1 visa in the passport is a single entry visa.... it is no longer valid.... his greencard is what is needed for re-entry into the US.....
