Ok I am stoked my wife got the appointment on a day that I do not have to take off of work cause we are on holiday the day after Thanksgivings. But Black Friday the biggest shopping day of the year. Boy I am surprised. Guess the government don't get the day after Thanksgivings off. That sucks.

Does this sound like a typo to anyone? It cleary says 11/23/07. (crazy)

I would have figured them to have the day off. I work for a county agency and we always have the day off after Thanksgiving, gotta figure the Feds would have better holidays than a county government.

Federal holidays are, oddly enough, designated by Congress and codified in the U.S. Code. The day after Thanksgiving is not one of them: 5 U.S.C. § 6103
