I´m sorry to hear that you are receiving no touches. In my case, I´m receiving one every day since 2007/10/29 I think. Today AGAIN! but we are still in the same boat together and stuck together. Hang in there!! I beleive it´s coming

Looking at our timelines between you and I with all our touches we have been blessed so many times. One of these has to be our "BIG" one. LETS SEE THE TOUCH OF THE APPROVALS!!

Yes, LET´S SEE. Oh, by the way, do you have any idea, how long it can take after approval to get the actual visa?

I have been told for the NVC it will take at least 4 to 6 weeks. Then our applications will go into the Embassy for the interview. For the American Embassy in Peru it is recommend the USC attend the interview. I'm not sure with yours. But, I will glady go and bring my hubby home with me!! Unfortunately, we still have some ways to go..... Sorry, after the interview Peru you can use DHL carrier for the Visa and it takes two days for the Visa for the United States.

So long. Man, it´s way to long. If I´m not approved this week, I don´t think I will be able to come to States for Christmas

I believed USCIS has gone thorough our applications with a fine tooth comb. They should definately by now be finished with whatever they have been looking at! Just unbelieveable!!!!!!! I really believe our applications are with the same official and our approvals will be sent at the same time......

Actually, K3s sail through NVC in less than a week. The problem is with CSC sending the approved I129Fs to NVC. Used to take about 1-2 weeks, now it is taking them 4-6 weeks. Once NVC has it, they move quick. But CSC just won't let us go..... VSC can send them in less than a week still

This is so damn ridiculous I don´t know what there can be so complicated in sending out our approved cases. I really doubt that people who work there have some sort of empathy ... more likely it looks like they got some f.... stoned hearts!!!!!!

I have read a couple of situations here on VJ where the petitions were sitting in VSC waiting to be entered. So the hold up may be on both ends. Whatever the situation we still must wait.

We are going through the nightmare of this process with a k-3 and I think this is not going to end soon my husband just call yesterday to ask what's going on because we haven't heard or been touched in over 4and a half months and some people close to our timeline got their I-29F NOA1 and I-30F NOA1 touched .But the lady told him to call in 36 days if we haven't herad anything from them in this time.It totally sucks

At least now we know we are not going to hear anything from them in another 36 freaking days .

Ok, now we have another touch to add to the collection of touches!! WHAT IS GOING ON???????

I believe USCIS system is broken for so many touches!!!!!!!!!!

Hi My Honey... at least your case is being looked at... we haven't got a touch since 10/25... and that day they said they were working on my case.. so after 1 week still no additional touches?? This security check is taking way too long.. they should probably do a "excuse my language" (dumb-a s s) check on the USCIS workers.. I am going to call them again today and bug them..

Honestly gogo, I think there is something wrong because with all these touches is crazy!!! There is no reason to look at a persons application for this long of time! They only requested one document and to see all of this it makes me sick inside!

are you planning on calling them too today? haha... also another reason is I'm running out of passwords... with their name and number combination.. it's up to our 3rd password now... hope that it doesn't come to a 4th..

Before I pick up the telephone to call; I need to calm myself down! Otherwise this my be a HUGE EXPLOSION on the telephone. This has gone to extreme and I understand the applications travel to different departments for inputting. BUT, OMG this should have been resolved! I do not know what to do anymore!! Its just unacceptable! What are all these touches about?

It seems we are from countries where the US doesn't trust.. That is why we are taking this long probably... I see people who get approved HALF the time from us... I think they were probably from England (which of course is a friend of the US)... if they don't trust China, why do they even invest there?

My husband has spoke of this on the telephone with me. But, I really believe its just the lack of these people do not know what the hell they are doing! NEVER should we have waited this long. Also, I feel the stripped us of so much. I understand how important the completion of this but, what we experienced in the process; I now hold USCIS personally responsible!!!

I think if they told us how the process works in CSC, and gave us a little more information about our petitions being reviewed when we called, that would help for the waiting. But leaving us in the dark without knowing, why, when and what....thats the frustrating part. All of us put our lives on hold.

I called in now at PST (Pacific) 8:06AM... and the computer system said there were "no immigration officers at this time"... I thought the hours were from 8AM - 5PM... what the hell?? no wonder they don't approve anymore... it's because no one is there at the office... ... when it says you start at 8AM... you don't wander around and sit at your seat at 9AM... yeah, it takes lots of training (from other topics) to train them to do that... hahaha... yeah, right... overtime... the only "overtime" they do is on their breaks... I'm going to try and call around 8:15AM or so...

WE ALL AS GOING THROUGH THAT PROCESS HAVE THE PATIENCE OF A SAINT!!!!! We´d better toughen up more (maybe somebody would says) but is it even possible yet? I think we all are so tough and patient that we cannot be more. Now it´s only taking our energy away.

UNBELIEVEABLE!!! NO ACCOUNTABILITY by USCIS! I believe there system is totally broken!!! We are receiving updates that don't mean anything...

Touches, Touches, and Touches... I am bruised... As days are going by(touches after touches and NO NOA2) and seeing how many VJer's K3 has gotten touched so many times(and no NOA2) in last couple of days... I am starting to believe more and more that my hunch was/is probably a reality: that touches are just that, touches...and I dont like to rely on them.. that or USCIS' computer systems are REALLY going crazy and generating all of these maybe unnecessary touches by itself on ppls petitions...

Ok, so, I dont know what to make out of my recent touches:
Touched 10/30 - Both I130/K3
Touched 10/31- Both I130/K3

Between my petition filing and now, I have made only a couple of phone call inquiries (First one was 10/19 and another was on 10/26) and only gave CSR my I-130 case # and hadn't even mention my K3 petition case#... Anyhow, I saw no I-130 touches within a day or two after that, well until 10/30. So, I am almost positive that these touches CANT possibly be due to my phone calls unless there is some LONNNGGG system delay in case status update due to phone calls... who knows what goes on in CSC/USCIS

I've been touched all the days you have been too. This is getting to be ridiculous. I hadn't been touched for four months to the day and got really excited when the touches started. But now i'm just plain anxious... I agree that something's broken at the center.... what else could this be about. Atleast its reassuring to know that the many many touches are happening to more than a few of us...

Have you recieved an RFE? Or maybe you are with the same Official as Nerdette and I. I think this official is memorizing our applications word for word. Just crazy!!

Touched Again: 11/01 - Both I130/K3. AGAIN.. Oh come. on..

BTW, I did call today so maybe this one is due to my phone call but then again I dint even mention my K3 case#... come to think of it again.. Maybe both are getting touched, per say, if they are already paired up, which at this point they should be... but who knows and frankly at this point, I dont care about these damn touches anyways.. I 'd just like a NOA2... please.. Is it tooooo much to ask for after almost 6 months of waiting?

I understand the feelings of being stress and frustrated waiting the Approval letters from USCIS. Just kept Patience and Pray sooner you will recieved your Approvals too.

Urge: In regards with my call to USCIS, the CSR did NOT tell me anything that I(we) dint know.. It was the same 'ol story of my petition still being under six months and "officially" CSC is still processing April petitions.... blah blah... She basically just read what we read on our CRIS portfolio.. even tho I try to prod into it.. but she wont give in and dint let me talk to an Immigration officer.. because she "does not" have that option when she pulled up my I130 case.. K3 was never mentioned...

In regards with your second post of.. Tomorrow being our day... I seriously hope so.. but unfortunately and I hate to be bearer of this bad news(at least in my own case) I see/know people who have had touches on their K1/K3/I-130 since about Oct 25 and they still haven't received any word about their NOA2 so when I compare my touches, which have been ONLY last 3 days (since 10/30) ... I am not holding my breath for NOA2.. call me pessimistic but that unfortunately that maybe the reality... I hope I am wrong on this one...

Anyhow, here's to hoping for faster NOA2 for all....

I think this whole process makes people pessimistic, so you're not alone in that Pkwel. If doesn't take long to realise that USCIS can let you down at any moment, and I think accepting that scenario is the only way to stay sane and get through each day. It is too much heartache and emotion to remain optimistic in this process.
