I think this whole process makes people pessimistic, so you're not alone in that Pkwel. If doesn't take long to realise that USCIS can let you down at any moment, and I think accepting that scenario is the only way to stay sane and get through each day. It is too much heartache and emotion to remain optimistic in this process.

The Official must scan every application on their desk; the scan must be if they worked on it or if it justs sits in the pile of applications. I think this is what is happening to our applications. I have been told for the NVC it will take at least 4 to 6 weeks.

Then our applications will go into the Embassy for the interview. For the American Embassy in Peru it is recommend the USC attend the interview. I'm not sure with yours. But, I will glady go and bring my hubby home with me!!

Unfortunately, we still have some ways to go.....

Sorry, after the interview Peru you can use DHL carrier for the Visa and it takes two days for the Visa for the United States.

I don´t know what there can be so complicated in sending out our approved cases. I really doubt that people who work there have some sort of empathy ... more likely it looks like they got some f.... stoned hearts!!!!!!

Surprisingly - I was touched today!! But not my I-130 but I-129F. All my touches were on that and not I-130. What about you? You are getting touches on both?

I am only getting touches on the I-130. This is the application USCIS referenced the RFE for. I believe your RFE was for the K3? Correct? My K3 were continue to be on hold until they are satisfied with the additional evidence we sent and then USCIS will release both of our approvals. Its ONE document and the wait continues... JUST SICKENING!!!

We both have these on our applications, IT JUST HAS TO BE WITH THE SAME PERSON AT CSC. I believe our applications are scanned every morning just because they are with this official but, they are not processing anything yet.... What the hell USCIS!!!

Well, in my case, Kim, they required RFE for both I-130 and I-129F. But only I-128F ihas been touching past few days - check my signature. I don´t know what I should think .. I can´t think about that too much anymore because it would completely overwhelm my head

Which of those touches are by them? (meaning when you call, you most likely created a touch).. they told me to try and limit my calls to once a month, even after the 180 days..

Judging by the number of touches on some of these timelines, I would guess that most of these are just due to calls to CSC. Usually you will get touches for a couple days every time you call in to ask questions about your case. These are different from the touches you get when an officer actually takes your case to their desk and does some real work on them. Just FYI, if you are calling often and generating these touches you may not be able to see the "real" touches. Best of luck to getting your approvals soon. I know the wait is very hard!

The rest are system generated. But, I questioned my K3 but the only touches were on the I-130. So, I'm not sure if touches are caused by telephone calls.

When I said to check back, the question was when will you call them? That was check back. I'm only giving them another week. It may not help anything and probably they will feed me a bunch more of there ######. But, for my own sanity I am pushing everyway I can to finish this AWFUL process that has gone to the limit!!!

We need to have some closure and I want my family here where they belong... Good luck!!!

LvivLovers, not all of these would be call generated. My Honey and nerdette had RFEs that they returned a while back (a few weeks). So an adjudicator has their files, and should be looking at them.

Time from embassy received to interview varies widely by embassy. Check the timelines for your specific consulate/embassy. My embassy takes only a few weeks to schedule interviews once received.... Kiev wait time is 6 weeks I guess from Lviv's timeline.
