Our documents were more than two weeks late, and the US system had lost track of the package. They told me an investigation would take up to two months.. Well, Awal's interview is Wednesday, and so when he woke me last night saying that they had not received it again this week (one day a week for international mail) I was understandably freaked. So I gave him the tracking number.. and two hours later they tell us it was sent to Takoradi instead of Tamale!! Aye yie yie.. So then they plan out all this logistical craziness so that he can go pick it up there! He goes home.... then gets a call from the post office. --- It's been gathering dust in the corner for two weeks already...!! Uuugh- the disorganization kills me!! But good news is that now he has it, and we're almost there!!!!!!

I'm surprised they were even able to tell you where it potentially was in Ghana. Who did you talk to to get that information?
I'm glad he got it!

Glad he got the package in time.
That sounds like the Ghanaian Post Office for true-true...I send Kweku a Valentine's Day package the last week of January.....We gave up hope on it because its been so long....he got the package on Wednesday--go figure!

Honestly Kanyiri, I have no idea how they found it-that was all Awal's doing! But the local post office did need the tracking number (it was sent global express) The US side of things was hopeless though.. It turns out that some idiot in Accra did, in fact, send it on a detour through Takoradi. And as for you All4Kweku- I'm glad he'll finally get his Valentine's day lovin'! Better late than never!!
