Hi All!

I have just received a letter from the Hong Kong Police Dept. that they cannot Issue me my request of Police Certificate for my K1 Visa because I have a minor record. In Hng Kong Law, no matter how small your conviction is, and even if you didnt go to Court for it.. its still a conviction.
I am still waiting for a letter from the Consulate to issue me a day for an interview. I have no idea if I will get denied because of this. Has anyone had the Interview without a Police Clearance Certificate? Please help! Thanx!!!

Not a lot of Hong Kong support here. It too is mainly mainland related but you might try asking this at http://www.candleforlove.com

I'm thinking you can get a police report indicating your actual criminal record, in lieu of a "no crime" report.
