I'm in California and my fiance is in the Philippines. Can I request it for my fiance and mail it to Germany. I know he needs to fill out the form and have it notorized. Do you know what other information they need? I thought I read here they need a copy of the passport? Is that true? Would you please confirm if this is the current form we need to fill out?

Does your fiancee have any family or friends there that can go to the police station to get exact information? Claudeth asked her Aunt to go and the person she talked to said she could do the request for Claudeth. Sure took a load off our minds.

Your fiancee could also go to the German embassy in Manila and get information too. They can probably help her fill out the paper work.

No he doesn't have any family in Germany. I was wondering if I can request the Police Clearance for him. But he needs to have it notorized. Not sure how long that will take. I called the German Embassy here in San Francisco and they advised me to go to the germanembassy.org website.
I wish there's an easier way to request this Police Clearance for my fiance.

I can only tell you that I had to have a police certificate and that came from Bonn so that might be the correct address.

Your fiance needs to go to German embassy in Makati to get the form. Tell her to bring the original and a photocopy of her passport . She also need to bring a valid I.D to be able to get a visitor's I.D to get in. After getting the form from the pre-screener she will have to proceed to Window 1 to submit the completed form and the payment (I think it was 2,500. pesos I'm not sure)) After the consul signs the form she will be instructed to go to the bank where she has an account to do the money transfer, its fee is 15.00 Euro. Have the form and the receipt photocopied and send it to Germany.

German Embassy Manila
25/F Tower 2, RCBC Plaza
6819 Ayala Ave. (Cor. Sen. Gil Puyat Ave)
Makati City
Metro Manila Philippines

Phone # (0063 2)702-3000
Fax # (0063 2) 702-3015

Office hours: M-Thurs - 7:30 - 15:30 Hrs
Friday - 7:30 - 13:30 Hrs

The address of the Federal Justice Ministry is indicated in the form. It will take 3-4 weeks to get it. When she receives the clearance she needs to have it translated and notarized. I had mine translated in this office:

Lucky Travel Corp.
G/F Allied Bank Center
6754 Ayala Ave.
Makati City

Phone # 815 4620-23

Hope this helps. Goodluck!!!!

My fiance requested the Police Clearance on Nov 6, 2007 and until know he has not receive anything. What should we do? Should I advise him to go to German Embassy in the Philippines? Do you think they have the info there? Can they see it in their record?

Thank you

Hi there!

I just had to request my German police certificate as well.

This is the form that needs to be completed.

http://www.bundesjustizamt.de/cln_049/nn_2...rag_deu_pdf.pdf

The form / the applicant's signature needs to be confirmed by a notary public. Then it needs to be sent to this address along with a notarized copy of the applicant's passport. I added a cover letter as well. You have to enclose as well a copy of the wire transfer as proof that you paid the fee.

I would assume that if the applicant is not a German Citizen it could be submitted as well to the embassy, but have that verfied by the embassy first.

Good luck!!!

Hi Everyone! My fiance got his police clearance however, they made a typo on his first name...What should we do? Should we request a new one? I don't really want to do that because that will take awhile again.. Anyone had the same experience. Please share.

Thank you

I haven't been in a similar situation, but since it is an official document, I would make sure that his name appears as his does on all his other identification documents. What exactly is the typo?

His first name is Justin... Instead they put Justine with an "E"
