Hello,

I really appreciate the amount of advice and information available on VJ.. and i thank everyone for their effort in mantaining such a usefull site ..

It has been more than 6 weeks since NVC sent out the AOS Fee bill and the ds_3032 form for my daughter.. and we are still waiting for it!! therefore, I was greatful to use the applet http://www.idautomation.com/java/linearservlet.html and generate a bar code for my daughter's AOS and DS-3032 forms ..I do have the bar code generated but i have a problem now... I have been trying VERY HARD to PASTE the bar code into the DS3032 form( i did followed the advice exactely). And after sooo many tries i have to admit that It's been hopeless for me!!! . .
My question is how do u paste a code into a page when the option of pasting is nonexistent ?
I also know that ds-3032 cannot be saved either.. and i do not have a printer home now..

Can anyone advice me what to do? How do u guys do it?
Any advice is greately appreciated ..

Thank you

Amalia

Have you tried e-mailing the NVC to let them know who you want the Choice of Agent to be?

I printed the form without it, printed the barcode on a page by itself, cut out the barcode, then pasted it onto the form with Elmer's all-purpose glue, then used invisible table around the 4 edges for good meaure. NVC posted the form to my case the day they received it...

Presumably, you could print the barcode onto a sticker also...

DS3032 is the only document where the barcode goes on the document.

All the others have the barcode on a separate coversheet only.

Well..I received a copy of my Affidavit Of Support( I-864) Procecessing Fee Bill ..this is what i am talking about it..the instructions are to cut the bottom part and send it with the money order $ 70...Since i only receive my son's AOS i was thinking if is possible to make a copy and create that bottom portion of it for my daughter ..unless is possible to pay the money and not having to return that bootom part! .This part has a bar code ..that is why i am asking ..

You should NOT send in a payment on any case until NVC says they've sent the bill. So, do they say they've sent the I-864 fee bill yet for your daughter? If no, you can't pay them together at this time. If yes, we have instructions on how to make a payment coupon with the proper barcode.

Including a payment coupon with barcode will allow your payment to be processed normally. The barcode is different for each case, since it contains the case number! Not including the proper payment coupons with payment will surely will cause some posting delay!

Yes of course ..i called NVC and found out that on 17th of september they sent the AOS fee bill together with DS form for BOTH of the children . ..but unfortunately only my son's documents made it to us ...that is why i was thinking to duplicate the AOS too ( today i already sent the DS form for her )but i didnt know if its ok that i create the barcode online.......
My children now lives in Saudi Arabia ...believe me the deliveries services in Saudi Arabia are the worse u ever seen...it will probably take forever if i have to wait for them to deliver the original documents..

thank you for ur help Chris..

If the NVC has said that your AOS fee bills are generated, then you can send them in using James' shortcuts. I would recommend using a separate envelope for each AOS fee bill-although it may be a bit more expensive, you'll be sure they're not overlooked or something like that if they were in an envelope together.

Good luck! smile.gif
