Hi all,

My wife and I recently moved, and I submitted my AR-11, and an I-865 for my wife.

Do I need to update my address with Social Security, or does this happen automatically through my employer's records?

For Selective Service, I turned 26 this year so do I need to change my address? Am I now exempt from Selective Service?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you! smile.gif

Nick81,

You don't need to update your address with SSA - I believe it is updated through your tax records, not employment..

You're not exempt from Selective Services (presuming you registered already) but you don't need to update them...

Don't sweat it. SS is only for men 18-25.
