For the first time, I used my AP for a trip to the Bahamas. I had applied for a multi entry AP and got two identical documents.
Me having no clue, I thought, they sent me two documents for two entries and was already wondering, why they call it multi entry.
To make a long story short, when we went through Immigration at the port (we went on a cruise), the Officer asked me for my documents, I handed him my AP and he asked for the second one..which I left at home!!!!!

He told me he needed both, one that I keep and one that goes into my file. I told him I didn't know and he smiled and said, "yeah, most people don't now that. Next time you travel, make sure, you bring both documents."
He stamped my passport and the new I-94 and that was it.

Easy and a friendly officer but believe me, I was a wreck after this! I had never heard that I need to bring both documents or maybe I just didn't do enough reading on here!?

Anyway, for everyone who plans to use the AP: Bring both!!! good.gif

Good to know... I don't remember reading that information anywhere, let alone on the AP document itself... maybe I remember wrong though.

Took me 30 seconds wink.gif (click on Visa FAQ near the top, then go to the AOS section, search for "parole" on the page)

What! I came across this post randomly. I had no idea you were supposed to bring both copies. I was wondering why there were two. I so...missed that in the VJ guide.

And just so you all know, they don't always take one of the AP sheets at the POE. I still have both of mine.

I plead ignorance, as I was filing for a fiance already in the US, so I never read the K1 FAQ. Thanks for the help!

another question on that, can you use the ap for any trip outside the usa or just for the trip you mentioned on the paperwork?
i stated i wanted it to visit my family back in germany, so can i just go to germany or any other country too?

I think I put "family visits and vacation" on the form and so far, I went to the Bahamas and for christmas, we will go to Germany.
I doubt, that the IO at he POE knows, what your application stated or that it even matters.
