Well, tomorrow, before dawn, the airport shuttle starts me off on my next trip. First, a business stop in western Europe (agreed to after I made all other arrangements for this trip) and then on to Novosibirsk. I'll be with my wife there for about 10 days and then, at last, the two of us will fly back to the USA.
I'm not ready. The apartment isn't ready. (I unexpectedly had to move my mom into a nursing home -- the best laid plans sometimes get altered by emergent reality!) But the apartment is more ready than I thought it would be.
And I am past ready for this crazy married separately life to end! And, in a few days, it will. We enter the USA on the 12th -- I'll post about entry then. Our POE will be Atlanta -- reputedly not the friendliest. So, please wish us luck, on several levels!
