Full Version: Can Permanent Resident travel without paperwork?

Hi everyone.

My husband received his Permanent Resident card a couple of months ago, which isn't expiring until 2009 some time. We haven't left the country at all since he initially entered in June of 2006, because there was paperwork required to gain permission and we had no real need to leave. However, I don't know if that changes now that he's a Permanent Resident. His sister is getting married next August and we're to travel over to the UK.

My question is: Will we need to get permission, or will his UK passport and Permanent Resident card be all that's needed? huh2.gif

Any info is appreciated, thanks a bunch! smile.gif
