We attempted to deliver your item at 1:32 PM on October 25, 2007 in MESQUITE, TX 75185 and a notice was left. It can be redelivered or picked up at the Post Office. If the item is unclaimed, it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

This is a standard USPS tracking message that happens all the time, it means the mail arrived at the post office after the mail for the day has been picked up by USCIS, wait a day or so, and it will show received.

This is a common post on VJ.

It's funny how you watch these posts all the time and see the responses, but then as soon as its your paperwork its a different story. Thank you.

The USPS leaves a notice in the USCIS P.O. and then notifys the sender that an attempt was made. The USCIS will pick up the packet and the post office is used to they way they operate.

Don't worry- they will get it. Something similar happened to me and was stressing over it but then it showed received. I guess that's the way they work tongue_ss.gif

I had that happen before. "Attempted to deliver" at 11:45am one day, then "delivered" at 5:30am the next. When you track the package today, does it show it as "delivered" now ?

Yes it does. Thank you so much for dealing with my insanity. Now we wait to see how long it takes for check cashing and NOA.
