what does it mean when you say you've been "touched".
Filed June 12, waiting for NOA 2

Have you signed up online for your case status??? If so then you can login, and the last updated date would be a touch. So if someone is touching you, you will see that date change. Most touches are from calling them, and that usually generates two. Good luck to you!! kicking.gif

Don't worry if you don't get any, we were one of the firsts may filers to be approved and we didn't get a single touch from the time we filed to our NOA2.

Touches are just when a worker looks at your file...nothing important until you are near the end

Make a Timeline and you can see other peoples progress...it helps everyone on here to keep it upto date!!!

Thank you all for your help. It appears I have been touched once. I gotta tell ya though, this whole thing is very frustrating. I have my Congressmans office looking into trying to help me. Anything. I miss her so much.

A timeline would be helpful. good.gif Also, since you filed on June 12th, your Congressman isn't going to do anything. You are waiting the same amount of time everyone else has been waiting. In 6 months if you haven't heard, then call your Congressman.

Not necessarily 6 months Jammie,

If you check, almost everybody who has filled as we did has gotten it already.
So I don't think that is a bad idea to call and do all possible so they check our files.

No, there are many people in May that haven't received their NOA2 yet, just as there are many in June that haven't yet either. What I am saying is an inquiry usually won't occur until you are substantially out of the "normal time" for an approval.
