My guy gave me a wake-up call at 6:05 am, after my two alarms have gone off. I was at the gate at 7:30 (had planned for traffic jam but there was none). There were just two K1-s today, a young girl from Turkmenistan who was shaking with fear, and myself totally calm and barely awake. Documents were picked up by a Russian guy in the first window. He wondered why I didn't bring my fiance's tax returns but I told him that the pay stubs and letter from employer should be enough.
No emails or phone transcripts were required.
I walked out, picked up my stuff from the security window and waited a bit for that scared Turkmen girl to see how she fared. She issued from the embassy shortly with a big grin on her face.
Then, relieved, I went to have a big cappuchino in the nearest coffee place. It's OVER!
