I keep thinking how many of us little humans cut on the
tv news and here all the crap this .gov said about another
.gov said..Or what your countries .gov said about this
.gov..One thing that keeps coming to my mind is all us
little humans out here are the majority and the truth is
they are few but hold you and me in thier grip..............
Maybe I to had a one tract mind about little humans in
other countries before (ONE) great big woman in a bad
country called (CHINA) re-wrote everything I've been
trained to think from my tv news and my .gov...........
How has your better half (wifey) (hubby) re-trained
in a way how you see all those little humans you have
now got to know for yourself?..How much different do
you see yourself now..Or was the truth always known
to you?..Just needed 1 specail person show the way.

Yes what you said makes sense. I think. I think you are saying that you once had a certain vision of China based on media, etc., until you met your SO. Now you can see there's so much more to the people of the country beyond the government.

I agree, but I suppose I've always viewed things that way. I'm a card-carrying member of Amnesty International and have been since the Nelson Mandela, apartheid days. I lived in Spain for 5 or 6 years, and all over the United States, as well as visiting South America, Europe, UK/Ireland, Canada. I've also taught students from all over the world. So I've seen firsthand that people are not their governments and they are not stereotypical in many cases (though, sadly, some people do live up to their unflattering stereotypes).

I think most people here are open-minded about other cultures or we wouldn't be here.

The truth was always known to me as far as a government can not define each individual person, nor can the media.
The world is too complex to stereotype humanity through media or perceived media or politics.
Everyone marches to the beat of a different drum, even when put under the umbrella of prejudice by people who like to stereotype and fit countries in their own little box.

Yes, but not just China.You, me and people on this site have had a chance to see
for ourselves what other people from other countries realy are like..
It's sad most people in this country as well as other countries form thier thoughts
around the tv news or what thier .gov said..Realy don't understand whats

full of love any man ever had..Picture urself

you live in..Off you go to a place you have
only seen on a tv or heard about on from
your .gov..You don't know what to expect,
all you know is this one person..........
On your flight you take in everyting around
you, take in people on your way in a plane
you have never seen face to face........
Everything is new to many of us, even simple
things like a couple hours waiting for ur next
flight in another country if you take the time
to see it for real it's not a get pissed off cause
your flight is delayed..It's just like your flight
up to this point..A time to experence life and
people from some where other than (mytown)
USA..Think about it, why would jokes be made
about what happens to you or others in real
life..I think it would crush you as a person to
have something you said from your heart joked

I am sorry I go from one thought to another,

I know i'm not alone in saying somehow, someway,
in my case no not on a date site, I found my better
half 8,000 miles away...Nothing more than pretty
much nothing.More or less one of a few billion normal
people never even knew anything but the state we
live in..One day for whatever reason we find ourself
leaving to experence a world we only knew from a
tv..When you set your feet in this new world, what
did you see?...What was going through your mind?
When your wife or husband said (I have a surprise
for you), what did you think?..I am a man yes but
all I knew was my sweet Amy, thats all I knew..
So without saying this yep (big woman) is my guide.
All my trust is placed in her, what more can you do?
My wife I guess is not what many call an average woman.
She built a very good life of her own, she has not needed
me for $, She is real in the dollar sense, and I envy her.
How proud of her, the life she made for herself in China

Somehow, some way find that one person you might
never even wanted to find, but one day you did...........
Find yourself leaving a very small world you know for
a place you thought you would never know, a woman
or a man you thought was only a dream................
When you get there find yourself surprised by her
or his family with open arms, even before you
get there you are loved..My wifes family is very poor,
Wifes dad (my dad) lived through more than any of us
can even understand..These people only knowing me
from my sweet wife from the second we walked up
5 floors in X'ian made me feel like some kinda king.
All I could think was why?..I am not worthy of this..
I am nothing specail, to me you are, please don't
see me this way. it's me that has this honor.........
Understand this, my dad in China lived through
the cultrural revaltion how ever its spelled, he has
spent most of his life not able to do much of anything
for his self for many many years..Once he even knew
english back when japan invaded china..(see your history)
My wifes dad is in his 80's now, mom and dad have seen
and lived more than most of us will ever know.
What in gods name gives you and Mr. Pampers any
