Hey folks!
My fiance called several times to CIS (California) and finally got some information. It seems they are having a “mailing” problem with contractors, so all cases are in the “staging area”. They have never left to NVC!!!
Not sure if it is true, but what I know is that my case (NOA2) is approved over a month and still didn’t reach the NVC.
So, hope that info at least help to give you guys some “peace”.
I wish we could do something! This seems to be a great lack of respect…

So when are they going to fix the problem??!! I mean, I'm sure they could hire new contractors in the month or more since we've all been waiting.......sorry........really feeling grouchy

Yeah, I'm not feeling too patient today... This news doesn't give me any peace it makes me feel sick to my stomach I appreciate the update though. I can't believe they are doing this to us. How hard is it to get a few people together to assemble boxes? And we are helpless. I'm loosing hope that my fiance will be here by Christmas.

Oh, I DO understand you. We were planning to spend Christmas together too, but hey, lets keep the faith!
I know, I do fight every single day to not get depressed, and I know - we all do - how hard it is.

They didn't give any "deadline" to my fiance... so that means we are completely helpless... they do not have interest in process all the documents fast, you know? So yeah... #%)*@#_!#&!_¨$@$%!# - I agree.

Wish I could say I can't believe it, but the place there and in Vermont is full of incompetent idiots...how else could they have a crap system that treats US citizens and their loved ones worse than everyone else they service?

Sounds like it might be time to write your state senator. I actually had to call the senators office once for another matter that involved a government agency and in a week it was resolved. Sometimes it is a lot better to call than to ite, usually you will get a person who takes the information then asks you to fax the letter. I am not at this point to do it and hope I never am... but this delay is worth writing about.

unbeleivable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! first of all CSC is so slow in processing. now, this mailing delay. call your senator and complain. you need to act.
it seems that they have no concern about the people waiting and waiting to have a life together.

Now that it's approved, you can hassle them as much as you wish. I recommend making some noise about it. And writing to your state officials couldn't hurt.

I'm emailing my senator tonight. I suggest everyone else does it. When they have senators calling them and telling them to get it together, they will be forced to.

my fiance called NVC a while ago and they said they don't have a record of our case from uscis. meaning, uscis haven't transported it yet to nvc.

it's more than 7 days already since our noa2 approval date. i hope it will be sent until end of the month.

can anybody here draft a letter that the USC fiance can send to their senators/congressmen in order to fasten up the schedule of sending our cases to nvc? please.. please..please...

I really don't want to depress you, just warn you. I'm waiting the NVC over 40 days. I really, really hope you don't have to go through the same insanely long wait as me.
My dream is to spend Christmas with my love and I see this dream going away every passing day.
I'm so tired...

I'm in the same position, got NOA2 10 days ago wishing there was something to do to speed up this process... maybe we should set up our own mail contracting company?!

I guess that goes for RFE's too.
Maybe they are holding out for more money just as the USCIS did that slowed the process.

We probably won't see any action out of California until next week because of the fires. I hope they are back up and running & ready to make up for lost time on Monday. We should put together a Starbucks fund & have it delivered to CSC to speed up productivity
