I realize that this is way too early in the case of mes parents but which size envelope and/or which Canuck post product do I need? The website shows only the Priority Courier Regional Pre-paid for $17.99, is this the only option? Wasn't there an Xpessspost Regional envelope? What other options are there? Will I need one for each parent? Kindly aidez-moi.

Easy does it brother. It's the biggest Canada Post XPress envelope (Regional or National depending where ma & pa live). I believe they also sell them @ the Consulate; and packet 4 has the exact measurements for the thing. Voila!
