after my interview the consular officer requested a co-sponsor.
my question is for ppl that have been in similar situation or were givin section 221 (g) and requested to submit other documents,how long did you wait after submitting the doc for the consulate to review and issue the visa ?

hi tarik i'm sorry to hear that,that you still need more document,i hope that you it done soon,but it's still not clear to me how they aprouved the affidavie of suport here and they complated the case and consulate found something missing there??i hope you can clear it thanks

I don't get it either.cuz we called the NVC when they were processing the affidivat of support and they said even my wife didn't work enough last year so her income wasn't enough that its alright but she has to send proofs that she's working full time now and that she makes enough.so thats what we did and my wife submitted letters from employers stating she makes over 31 000 dollars a year and that she has a full time jobs.after that the NVC approved the affidivat of support but in the interview the consular officer said we need a co-sponsor.I think they didn't even look at the employment letters but it doesn't matter anyway I submitted the doc for a co-sponsor last week so I hope they will reveiw them soon and issue the visa.
