We have to file to remove conditions on Claudeth's GC right after Thanksgiving and I am already starting to get all worked up about it. I lay in bed at night thinking of all the stuff I will need to put together and most likely explanations to write concerning certain issues.
Anyone else having anxiety attacks?

Of course. But you'll find this stuff easier to assemble than the AOS.

Hiya Jim,
We're sending ours in on Nov 11. I've gathered all the stuff together and prepared the cover letter. The entire packet is sitting on my desk atm. Just waiting for that date to roll in.

I had some anxiety over our application too (mostly over the amount of stuff), but once I started collecting the documents and making copies, it got easier. This was also easier to assemble than our AOS packet. Nothing like setting up joint accounts, applying for SSN, learner's permit, AND getting stuff together for AOS all in the same month a little over two years ago.

Yeah, we have been busily getting Derek's packet together for the past few weeks and I think I finally have most of all assembled and hope to have it mailed off in a day or two. Actually we have been slacking a bit and could have mailed it off as early as September 22. But I wanted to make sure we had it all done right. Derek came in CR1 and therefore didn't have to file an AOS, so I am a bit nervous!

I am nervous but I guess I was nervous with each of the processes.

I have started working on the cover letter and have gathered several documents. All our friends and family are busy writing letters for us. I do figure this packet will be the easiest of the three that I have had to assemble. We having savings and checking together but I didn't bother to put her on the deed. I have a living trust and will and she is all taken care of in there so hope it will satisfy the USCIS.

We sent ours out yesterday. The file was at least an inch thick. The affidavits were the hardest part since USCIS doesn't really give any guidance on how they're supposed to be written. I took some language from the I-134 and built a template that I gave to our affiants to complete.
After seeing the horror stories from others who have filed at NSC, I'm not holding my breath we'll get an answer anytime soon. I've seen some posts that indicate that NSC is now forwarding all newly received I-751s to CSC for processing, but I can't find anything on the USCIS site about this. Can anyone point me to something official?
I'm not as freaked out about this round as I was about AOS. I'm just worried that my wife's biometrics will be scheduled right around the time our baby is due in January. Hopefully we'll be lucky and get an appointment before the end of the year.

I'll give you some real anxiety. I sent my application Oct 15 and they received it Oct 17 and I still haven't received an NOA. In addition, when I called they told me they have 3 months to send an NOA and they couldn't even verified that they received it.
Cheers

Anxiety Attack? HECK, YES!
I've been accumulating stuff for months! The complete filing was almost 2 inches thick with paper! It sat on my dining room table for the past 3 weeks, almost finished, but just staring at me! FINALLY lasy Friday I assembled EVERYTHING and put all together for the post office mailing ... even went to post office to check weight and buy exact postage and do all requirements for them ahead of time!
Even though November 1 was the actual 90-day advance date, I even waited a few days longer so that the USCIS staff wouldn't give me grief or even miscalculate the 90-day start period! Why ask for any more grief than necessary from the USCIS?????
Then, at 915AM this morning, Monday, November 5 ... I MAILED THE I-751 for my wife!
WHAT A MAJOR RELIEF!
Knowing that the USCIS is WAAYYYY BEHIND, I am now just goinh to CHILL-OUT and watch to see when the check is cashed. Frankly, from everything I have read, I don't expect to see it clear my account for 30+ days.......so the wait begins.
I sent the package by PRIORITY MAIL, Certified with Return Receipt. TSC should receive by Wednesday ... I can track via the receipt number and, hopefully, we will even receive our Return Receipt as well!
My insides are churning but I need to calm down now 'cause there is NOTHING I can do anymore at this point!!
So... the long wait now begins.....

We took our paperwork to the post office about 1 a.m. Sunday morning. It is supposed to go out today and be received tomorrow. I'm a bundle of nerves being back in the immigration process again. My husband said we had more than enough even though I wanted to send more
Good Luck to everyone. I sure hope it doesn't take as long as what I've been reading.

I am sending ours out today. I just finished addressing the envelope. We are a bit delayed but within the guidelines. I'm just glad to have it over. The part that hurt the most was writing that dang blasted check LOL
Best wishes to all.

Well, we are on board for November also (time FLIES indeed!) and it's nice to "see" some familiar faces from previous stages of the process

Our 90 day window opens on the 16th and we're planning to send it out soon after that.
Good luck everyone!

Our I-751 was delivered to NSC today - pretty fast, since we just sent it priority on Saturday (I'm glad we didn't bother paying extra for express). Based on what I've read, I'm assuming the case will end up at CSC. It'll be interesting to see how long it takes to get a receipt.

Mine can be mailed in as of Nov 28. I'm still waiting on my divorce so I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer. Just hope it's final before my expiration date which is Feb 28 2008. Good Luck to all of you.

My husband did not add me to our home mortgage because we'd have to go through the hassle of refinancing the loan and he got an excellent fixed rate years before we even knew each other existed. We have both our names on a bunch of stuff, like the title to my car, checking account, credit cards, bills, home owners' insurance, etc.
Before I had started gathering all the docs together a couple of months ago, I was a little concerned that we wouldn't have "enough". The fully assembled packet that's been sitting on my desk for more than a week now is more than an inch thick. LOL. Brandon even chuckled each time I pulled out the scanner to scan even more stuff that I dug out along the way.
You're right - this packet is A LOT easier to assemble. I still shudder when I recall the K1 packet 3 phase. Good lordy, that phase wore me out.

As far as affidavits, are they required? Or just something extra? Also the only form we actually have to submit is the 751?

I just got home from the post office putting out I-751 and supports in the mail to the CSC. No anxiety really as it was really just a matter of gathering everything we already had over the last two years together. The paperwork was a snap compared to the K-1 process and the I-485. Now it's just a matter of waiting. Good luck to all.
