Today my employer just told me that second shift is going to get closed because there is no work to do, I worked very few hours but anyways, I think this really will look bad, and I'm about to get I-184 from NVC next week, and i'm not sure if this is going to influence in a bad way, so can smb plz tell me what might happen
October 10 - NVC received AOS bill and Choice of Agent
October 15 - NVC generated IV bill and I-184
If you lose your job before you can submit your I-864, you can't claim to be employed on it anymore... remember, it is an affidavit!
If that happens, you might need a household member or co-sponsor unless you get another job which will provide enough income to maintain yourselves above the applicable minimum income level.
Bear in mind, the household member or co-sponsor can be the sole source of income if necessary. Actually, that is precisely how my case is... sponsor is unemployed since _______. Therefore, household member's income on I-864A is being used entirely to satisfy the requirements.
