My fiance will be entering the US on Dec 27 on a K-1 visa. We will be married on March 7.

Since my fiance needs to do something, could she take some college classes using the K-1. Will that be a problem? I teach at the college where she would take classes.

Keep in mind most state sponsored schools will charge you NON-Resident rates.

Contact your local college Admissions Office and ask.

Yes she sure can. I applied to college and got in, I start in January. However they are trying to push non resident rates on me. It's a LOT higher so be aware.
