Well as posted in another thread I checked Canada Post's web-site last night and it stated that my visa package was accepted in Montreal's post office at 9 a.m. yesterday. Since it's Quebec/Ontario and an overnight Xpress post envelope I'm thinking I should get it today. We called the post office and they said that since it is Xpress and not Priority mail then I might not get it until 5:00 p.m. today.

So here is my question - what time during the day did you guys who have received your visas, receive them in the mail??? I hope mine does come today and before 5:00 p.m.! But apparently it might still be on its way from Montreal... (not that I expect mine to get here the same time as any of yours, being in a different city and dealing with different post offices and such, but I'm just curious!) Also did your postal carrier deliver it with your regular mail or was it someone else?

(Can you tell I am excited and trying not to be impatient? wink.gif lol I just feel like I'm dreaming these past couple of days!)

My interview was in Vancouver..

He told me on the spot I was approved and to come back tomorrow at 2:15 to pick it up.

Oops, I should have specified I meant for Montreal folks! smile.gif (Since unfortunately we can't just pick them up sad.gif )

The tracking number says ITEM OUT FOR DELIVERY at 8 something a.m.!!! That was a couple of hours ago... I don't have it yet... hopefully soon!!!

It was delivered regular mail. It arrived at the same time as the other mail. But I live in a rural area so maybe it's different in a city.

You mean you didn't bribe your postman already?

No alcohol!

Turned out he was a new guy - doing a new route - he was very nice though and apologized for being late (? I didn't know he was late, although we did get mail shortly before noon previously) and double checked to see if it was Priority mail or Xpress mail!

We got it circa 9 a.m. and it was the same guy that usually delivers my friend Sarah's mail (he actually was unsure who the blip this Lenina person was LO).
