I hope everyone has a great weekend and I'm looking forward to seeing more approvals starting on Monday!!

It's raining here in CT, but we desperately need it so I hope it pours! Besides, the fall foliage looks gorgeous when the sky is gray and the leaves are wet.
I'm sad that my husband will probably get here after the good leaf peeping is over. Oh well, there's always next year.
On a side note, my neighbor across the street is watering his lawn and it's supposed to rain all day today.

Enjoying my first cup of the day, seeing what happened on VJ whilst sleeping.
Soooooooo today was gonna be measuring a few new houses, but upon further review, I will spend the day hanging out with a special 4 year-old. Miss Alexis and I are going to spend some quality time together. She is a riot to be with. I never know what she is going to say next. She told me last week God was a porcupine in the back yard. I asked her mother, now why is God a porcupine? She said, "Mom, you told her God is everywhere, and she is finding Him, everwhere". LOL Gotta love kids.

Jackie - Your stories really remind me of my mom and my oldest son. You seem like two of the same. It really makes me miss her (she's still around just halfway across teh country)!

My back is a WHOLE lot better today. After getting our son put to bed last night, I laid on an ice pack for about 30 minutes and went to bed really early. When I got up this morning, I felt a whole lot better. Still going to see the doctor today so he can tell me about my X-rays. They x-ray tech gave me the CD with my x-rays on them and of course I've sneaked a peek. I can definitely tell there IS an abnormal curve in my spine...so I'm anxious to see what the doc says.
Sarah, I really laughed when I saw your avatar. I have this book in my Amazon que to buy for our son. We are soon going to start potty training and I plan on getting him this book. But everytime I see it, it makes me laugh.

I have had the book since college when a friend of mine bought it for me. It makes me laugh too.

I missed everything on Wednesday because 1) had work in the morning, then 2) spent 2 hours at the DMV (Idir passed the written test - YAY!) and then 3) had to spend the rest of the day at the eye doctor because Idir couldn't pass the eye test at the DMV.

I have had the book since college when a friend of mine bought it for me. It makes me laugh too.
I had to buy that book for my oldest daughter 'cause she had a VERY hard time with the whole concept. It worked wonders!

In Texas, his moroccan DL was good for one year so he has been driving all the time using that. I printed off the code from the DL site and put it in the glove department because I just knew some cop might not necessarily understad the Moroccan DL (which was all in French and Aranic anyway).
He took the test in Eglish and passed with high score without even having to finish the exam (one of those computer ones that caluculate even if you miss allthe remianing one you can pass)!
He has to go back for the driving part of the test, but since he was a professional driver- i think that will be the easy part LOL

So I called Sen. Kennedy's office just now to see if they received my fax which requested help in figuring out what the heck is going on with our case. The woman said to call back in 6 weeks!!! 
So...................I've decided to try my congressman instead. We'll see how that route pans out!

I did that for a summer job once, it was so wonderful! I would do it over again in a heartbeat

Hahahahah! The other day I wasn't feeling so well, I don't think I ever saw my Father-in-law smile the way he did. He is so excited about the fact that I feel like crap!
Well Today has been a great day got to get paid to attend a baby shower for 2 1/2 hours, have a good lunch and dessert. Makes for a great day! Sounds like we have a MENA baby announcement soon
Spent last night looking at pics of my mom and it is so hard to believe that in May of 2005 my mom weighed 200 lbs and had a double chin. Needless to say had some great laughs and it was a nice time remembering the great times with her. We finally picked one out that we could all agree on. Sent it in for the Obituary and it will be in Mondays newspaper.
Looking forward to just relaxing this weekend and cleaning house and taking it easy.

I didn't think this day would ever end. We had to move offices from the 6th floor to the 3rd and it was, to say the least, an experience

NOt really much work involved, more stress than anything. I just making sure the movers moved the correct things to the correct office. I still came up short on a couple of things.
When they move me, the first thing I grab is my red stapler.
