I think every preteen girl reads that book. I just now found out that it wasn't a true story. I guess that's good.

Yes, Amal was just what the doctor ordered. It was so gracious of her and her family to accept me on such short notice. Their hospitality means the world to me. Her hugs were comforting and her husbands humor cracked me up. (he's got this cute little dance he does ) Traven is such a charming boy, so polite and smart.

Ok Jackie, when you're done schmoozing with the Eastcoasters, next trip is out West. You'll have to make two stops or we'll have to meet up in Oregon since Sarah and I are no where near each other. But you're welcome none the less. I even have a guest room now!!
West coast > East coast. It's boring here. Everything's paved, the traffic sucks, the beaches suck, the fishing sucks, the traffic sucks, road construction sucks, the traffic sucks... did I mention the traffic?
But, lol, I haven't found anywhere that I like better than good old New England yet.
