Hello All,
so what happens at the Biometrics excam in Alexandria? Do I just need to bring the drivers license and passport, or any other stuff?
Thanks David

Appointment letter tells you what exactly to bring. I think all offices need the same: the letter they sent you and passport. Marriage certificate IF your AOS application is in married name, and different from passport name.

I guess you are asking about your wife's appt, so SHE needs to bring the above docs. You don't have to go with her! Unless you want to smile.gif But check the appt letter! I am in San Francisco. My letter said: unless someone is helping you with transport or interpreting we have limited seating in waiting area, only applicants please! Yet, when I got there (alone - I am walking distance from the office)... there were 2 or 3 people waiting and like... 50 empty seats. Go figure!

That's enough if your name on both documents is same. Goes probably for most males. I've read one post here where a guy said he was changing his name to make it easy for everyone around him smile.gif

For some or most women who take on new name after marriage - if AOS was filed under new married name but passport has previous/maiden name - you must bring your marriage cert!

Her name on the appointment letter was with my last name and her passport was her maiden name but they still did her biometrics.

The same answer - appointment letter and passport. But with one nuance. I guess there is an old last name in the Russian International passport? I had two different names in my docs - new one in my appoinment letter and old one in my Russian ID. So I've been asked about our marriage certificate to confirm my new last name indicated in my appoinment letter. But we didn't take it 'cause it wasn't mentioned in the letter. And I had to write my old last name in application form instead of new one. I would recommand you to take also your marriag certificate just to be on a safe side.
All the rest is simple - fingerprints, picture, signature. They let you look at your pic in case if you don't like it. At least here girls who worked with my daughter and me they wanted to be sure that I was satisfied with what they've done.
