I think the whole concept that Steve and others had when they started JV was just that, members helping one another with this awful process. To me it has been a great success good.gif
RandyandRina
luv.gif Thats so sweet Jigi. Thanks!

I am just sharing the personal knowledge and experience that was also shared to me by others here in VJ. We are all here to help each other out. It's always a pleasure to help you, and others as well.

I agree with Jigi, i gotta say without VJ and its members we'd of had NO IDEA about some of the forms, how to fill them out, how to do the shortcuts, because the gov's website and NVC miss out alot of info and can be very vague at times. This place has helped us no end! Thanks to everyone.. smile.gif

Same for me, had it not been for VJ and all its members' advice, it would've been a very long and painful process. So thank you all and I'm here to help in whatever I can. happy.gif

Thank you Mariya.....

But I make mistakes...However, the questions you asked about Affidavit of Support were exactly the same issues I had to deal with. So I had a some idea.

It is two thumbs up for the VJyers coz without their help the visa journey would have been very tough for us. It is just not the process help but most important it is the emotional support that we get from each other. way to go VJyers.....

Hey jigi sorry to hear about the bad news in the family.

take care guys
RandyandRina
I think the most important thing I have learned on this journey is to trust someone even they are strangers to you. I strongly believe that not only we learn from our own experience, we learn from other experiences too. I learned so much here, and I gain so many friends with this journey. wub.gif Thank you all...

Just as others have been mentioning, I would REALLY be lost were it not for VJ and its members...

There are many people here who contribute so much time and effort towards helping people like me feel comfortable with this process.

I've sent so many PM's asking for personal help, and those like RandyandRina have responded to each and every one with great attention.

Before starting with our case, I was scared about my file making it through the various checks and approvals, but this was alleviated as soon as I began to read the informative posts.

Thanks all for the help and support... keep up the good work.

Thumbs up for VJ! Without VJ, I won't be here right now with my better half.

Many people asked me how did we do it all without lawyer at all! Well, I got 'my lawyers' here, lol. We're not rich so we can't afford a lawyer but VJ makes it all possible for us to unite in US. I recommend this site to everyone.

Thanks for all VJs who never bored answering my questions and help me with their sharings!

I would personally like to thank Google. Without them, I wouldn't have stumbled upon this immigration-related goldmine of a website. jest.gif

There are so many folks to thank here it's not even funny. I have browsed through a lot of the different forums and there has always been a member or two that gave solid advice, valuable help or just simple words of encouragement. The online community here is one of the best I have come across.

Also, the fact that many of us were either grouped together by visa category, filing date, or country immigrating from has formed friendships that I would love to sustain. Not many people outside of this site can imagine what we have experienced. Only the folks here can really understand what we go through (filling out an endless supply of forms, countless refreshes on the USCIS website, sore fingers from dialing the NVC, etc.) while trying to reunite with our loved ones.

It's nice to have a place where people dynamically contribute. It clearly shows the positive results. James' shortcuts is one shining example. I can tell you all that his (and other derivative) methods has saved me 2-3 months or processing time. Also, knowing members' timelines gave me a more realistic understanding of processing times so I didn't despair when I saw the numbers given on the USCIS site. Knowledge is power and this site is abundant with it.

CHEERS TO EVERYONE OVER THE YEARS WHO HAVE AND ARE CONTINUING TO CONTRIBUTE! good.gif
