Staying home today, flu

Morning everybody!!
I have to tell you guys about the spinach pies. I made them yesterday morning as a treat for Hatem when he came home in the afternoon (I couldn't be home but I thought they would be a nice suprise for him) They were so pretty, and they took a long a long time to make but I was really proud of them. I rolled out all my little dough balls and they all stuck to the roller and my circles were super-imperfect, they still came out very attractive. He was reheating them in the oven, got distracted or something and burned them black. On the phone he told me what happenned and I could tell he felt bad, but I almost cried. I thought maybe they were burned on the bottom so told him to hold one over the sink and scratch the black parts off with a knife...maybe the inside is stil all good...but nah. He must have baked these like 3 hours they are like black rocks. Oh, sorry honey. Its funny now, but I was sad about it yesterday. (he really hates eating out but I got to cash these in for some Chipottles carry out and it was good)
I have a diet pill update: they are supposed to take off 90 lbs in 6 weeks but I never did think that was likely. Yesterday was one full week and the scales down 8 lbs. 8 times 6 is less than 90 but are they a complete bust? guess not. I can't say I feel or see the loss, but I do like feeling full and happy so I'm gonna take them til they are gone and see whats up then. All I got for now...

Thanks for the update Dawn! That's still pretty impressive! I normally lose up to 5lbs the first week of a diet and then 1 to 2 lbs per week thereafter so you're definitely ahead of the game I think.

Been nursing a sick child since last night so I'm working from home. She's curled up in a lil ball on the couch watching nickelodian.

Good morning! My co-worker brought in strudel and other goodies she made this weekend and our boss is gone so we have a staff meeting in 15 minutes, and we're having it over pastries and tea! How exciting! Not much else going down.

Darn it I wish I had some pastries right now!

Good God someone pull the plug. I just finished watching some kid pick their nose with their foot on Nickelodian and now my daughter has the telletubbies on.

well as I was leaving the house today.. I locked myself out I JUST stepped beyond the threshold to hand my son his school bag.. turned around just in time to hear the door click shut.. My keys.. bag.. other sons school bag were all RIGHT THERE!!! THank god we all had out coats on.. cause it is pretty Freaking COLD!!!!

I'm 100% NOT in the mood to be at work...

I am stuck paying the AOS fee even thou it got cancled I am very upset about that!

I decided I want to get a Boston Terrier dog.. but cant find a good way in getting one

I have decided to go back to school again.. a buddy of mine wanted to pair up and go back together.. But we both wanna go to different schools.. BUT we have to decided on the same one to try and do some of the same classes.. I need her to help me baby sit the boys a few nights so I can go.. but in the end i dont think she will do it

My son has to have ear surgery again!

Tuesday long day at school but first class was cancelled! Yeah!

Now I can work on my paper and script writing and two video projects I'm doing this week.

Ack! I just realized even though midterms are over there is still more work to be done before the end of this week.

So far I have two A's and one B and I'm waiting on three more classes to report the midterm grades.

Hey...........I was taking care of a sick kid last night but listen..you have to insist that he pay that aos fee. I don't care how he gets the money this is his bill not yours. Also, when they call you I think you should let them know the situation. Obviously they know that it is common for the men to pull this crap since they have it on the website as a warning so even though you may not see it as a ploy better to be safe than sorry, you know?

And the LAST thing you need is a freakin' dog to take care of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG they are soooo much work in the beginning! You need to have peace and tranquility not yip yip yippin' and freakin' out when he gets off the leash!!! NOt to mention vet bills, additional food, etc etc etc. OMG I"m getting a headache just thinking of the responsibility!!!!

But I've been a dog owner my whole life.. Up until last summer and I miss it terribly.. I could give you a LIST of my pros.. but the one con $$ is whats winning right now

Dee maybe you could look for a boston terrier rescure group? most breeds have them around here and there and usually its free although you may not get a puppy....

I love dogs and I seen on the today show that they have a website that has dogs that are going to be put down unless adopted. I am very happy that in my community we have a no kill shelter. My dog is my baby and I wish I could have another dog but my baby is such a drama queen she will not allow us to get another pet.

Just found out that we are having a baby shower for a co-worker on Friday so I get paid to go to the baby shower how cool is that!

It is overcast and the leaves are changing colors.

Tuesday...I'm feeling better today thank God! All I remember from yesterday is ..... waking up this morning!!!
Dee, If you can AT ALL get away with it, make him pay that fee! You shouldn't be forced to pay it girl. I hope ur sons surgery goes well. I'll keep you in my prayers

I almost wrecked my car yesterday. Was driving home from work and the car in front of me stopped suddenly. I was probably about 10 car lengths away so I would have had plenty of time to stop....but it was raining and my tires slid. I was within inches of the guys bumper when I let off my breaks and turned into the grass on the left side of the highway and slid about 100 feet. I was ok though humdullah. I was scared to death but I maintained my composure quite well, I think...aye Jacklen??

Didn't anyone get a flu shot yet!?

Not yet, my company was giving away free ones last Friday but I couldnt get mine because they didn't have any preservative free shots.

I'm scheduled here at work for next Wednesday I think.

doc told me not to get a flu shot...he said its not recommended cause im preggo!

Really? All the OB docs I work for actually suggest the flu shot after the 1st trimester. I can't imagine having the flu while pregnant. I had the flu last year and I thought I was gonna die! I've never been that sick in my life!

Today was the D-talk day.

I did a dance around it till he ran away from it.

To which he cursed and signed off msgr. So I sent him a brief email. "Until you can answer...with no BS...until then..."

Which he replied:

"OK.. fine..
I will take my clothes and i will be living in the hospital till the end of October..
You can consider me taking a break from all that , and giving you a space..
I won't answer any questions, this question is supra humiliating and if you are unable to trust then no one even me can give you that.."

To which...I feel sick...and I will accept the break and talk to my Dr. when the time comes. I'm taking a break from VJ too... Stepping away from the computer.

The visas may soon be cancelled so I took us off the timelines.

add them to your clipart in microsoft word, then you can insert microsoft word clipart into an outlook message. not had any luck getting the smiley to move though but you can see the smiley ranting away
