Okay, so my husband and I finally got our interview. the only problem is that it's not a month from the day we sent back packet three (as the apparently outdated paperwork implied) but 6 days from now. The worse problem is that his medical interview is on Thursday and the lab takes a week to send out the results from the blood work.
So, crap. Has this happened to anyone else before? What happens if your lab results haven't been received yet in time for the interview, but you have had your medical appointment?

Hi

Ohh heavens... i think you should take a letter from the hospital that your medical is done and the results will be given in a week and hence inform the Embassy in advance.... Embassy will tell you what to do ... Email them ASAP

Congratulations! Relax.
At the interview your husband tells them that he's had his medical. They will approve the visa pending the outcome of the medical and isssue the visa when they receive the medical results. (Same thing happened to my wife.) Stabu will have his visa within two, three weeks from today. Again, congratulations -- it's over for you.

Congratulations! My hubby's interview is about 3 weeks and 5 days from now and we still do not have the appointment letter for the medical. It takes about 3 weeks to make sure everything is ok. I am looking for options how we can do this.

thanks for the replies. Stabu was freaking out. I wanted to force choke him to calm him down, but unfortunately I'm incapable of that tongue.gif

He listened to me and emailed the embassy and they said that they'd rescheduled his interview and that he should suggest some dates. I told him just do a week later we'll see if he listens...

I would contact the Embassy to ask them if you should proceed with the interview and see if they could just accept the medical paperwork afterwards.
