My wife is coming at the begining of Nov and wants to start looking for work little after she gets here. I know the social security card will take atleast two weeks and Im not sure if there is anything else we will have to wait for. Does anyone know of any way we can get her social security # ealier and just wait for the card to arrive later?

You can try to go directl to SS ofice it might take less time

It depends on the kind of visa uses to enter the US. I'm assuming she'll be coming with a CR1/IR1 since you're asking the question in this forum but don't have your Timeline filled out. If this is the case, she needs to get her social securty # to be able to get hired. My husband applied for a SS # two weeks ago but he still hasn't received it.
