I just wanted to post how much I appreciate this site. My husband and I have been telling so many people how this site has helped us on this journey and we will continue to refer to it as my hubby does his AOS. We are planning to begin the drive to California on the 29th with a 26' U-haul and a minivan, 2 grandparents(they are coming with us to help with the move), 2 kids and my hubby and I. it should be an adventure. We plan to go through the Sweetgrass, MT POE.
You can see our journey in my sig. Thanks again!

Fabulous! We also crossed at Sweetgrass and it was quick, though the immigration dude was not the friendliest!!!

Thanks everyone. Things are going pretty good. The only thing we seem to be having trouble with is getting the compliance letter from Chrysler. I know someone else on VJ had a horrendous time with them too. We sent all that they wanted (current KM, VIN #, copy of K3 Visa, etc) and they actually mailed a letter to us saying they "only issue compliance letters to Canadian residents immigrating to the US and plan to use their vehicle for personal use:. ummmmm that is EXACTLY what we are doing??? It is ridiculous. The only way to contact the office is through fax. So we faxed all the information again with a nice little letter explaining our frustration. I don't know if we'll receive it in time or not. Thankfully, under the hood of the van are two stickers stating that they are compliant with US and California standards. ugh.
I am trying not to panic too much about the packing. With two little boys at home it has been very, very slow at packing. Thankfully my husband and I will have 3 full days without the boys to pack everything up. Man, that does not sound like a lot. I better get off of VJ and get to work.
Thanks for the vent.
