I know i just filed 4 months ago, so i do not really expect anything yet. However, when i read visajourney topics, i don't ever see anyone getting approved from NSC. even if it happens, happens like once a month. what's going on? are they transferring cases to other service centers, cause there's always bunch of people getting approved with TSC or CSC.
it would really be nice to see more people getting approved, so we could get a little more positive smile.gif

Heh, you need to start a NSC Losers club just like we have the TSC Losers club.

Petitions filed with NSC or TSC after about July 1 are being transfered to CSC, where they are being approved fairly rapidly. Petitions filed at NSC or TSC before July 1 (basically, petitions that were filed during the entire first half of the year) are STILL sitting gathering dust . . . .

Don't want to appear as a smart ###, but:
http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...c=90727&hl=
there is others, but this is the most recent one I could find....
Not that I would consider NSC is working as fast as it should.... but at least there seems to be one adjudicator left that works every other day.

Nebraska sucks!

I am waiting since April....
JeffandRebecca
Unfortunately, my petition was sent to Nebraska too. I am trying to find a better job. My GC expires at the end of Dec. Call me crazy but I am worried that I may not get NOA1 before the GC expires. I do not know what would the potential employer think. Suddenly I feel like my life is on hold because of this.

Hey Simona,
It's good to see you again!

Here is a recent NSC thread - not to aggravate things, but just as information. It is taking about 9 months. Too bad USCIS does not have the common courtesy you can find at a store - serve in the order you arrived at checkout.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...86168&st=15

There is another list with dates that you might find interesting. It includes other service centers as well.

Did you file recently? If so, you are better off because yours might be transferred. Good Luck with the job search!

We have been waiting since March sad.gif I think the end is near...right? It really isn't fair that we have to pay these fees, for no service or greencard, only to have to turn around in a few months and do it all again when we do the citizenship. I guess it is just another nice tax for us sad.gif Not much we can do but wait...
zyggy
We've also been waiting since April and it does look like the timeline for them is about 9 months... so we're looking at a January approval. No big deal.. it's not like we've lost anything. It's just more annoying than anything else.

My NOA is January so the 9 months is about now. I doubt it though, the current processing time is Dec 22 2006. Maybe by Thanksgiving. Or Christmas. Or.... unsure.gif

Same as me, NOA on Jan 25th and nothing since biometrics in Feb. Frustrating.

Heh, looks like you guys at NSC finally have your own Losers' thread going. We in the TSC Losers welcome you but warn you that you will never be Losers on our scale!

Tammi
We have been waiting since Feb., so almost 9 months. I would be shocked if my husband got it before 2008.
Spiderette
have those of you who have applied earlier this year and are still waiting considered reapplying whistling.gif perhaps it will get bumped to Cali this time and you'll be approved within 2 months biggrin.gif That is if you have the extra $545 to flip
coloradogirl
Well, as I replied to lovesdolphins on the TSC time, we are going through Nebraska and my husband's NOA is dated January 4th, and the new time line is January 3rd. We sent it in on December 27th. At least we went to Denver in July to get that stamp (I-551? is that right, I can't remember) so there'd be no problem in traveling and trying to get a new job, well not until July 2008 at least, think he'll get his card by then????? whistling.gif

Ruairi
Grumble, times are updated. Processing cases with receipt date of Jan 3rd (mine was Jan 25th). I doubt it will be done before Christmas.
Bertrand
Almost 10 months since NOA1 and still nothing since biometrics... should I call USCIS??? dead.gif

Don't bother calling until one month after your NOA date pop's up on the USCIS website. And contract your congressman, calling USCIS is worthless.

Bertrand
Thanks for your reply.

Maybe an Infopass appointment? And definately contact your congressman. I am 3 weeks behind you and that's what I will do if I don't hear anything.
drawbridgep
Seems that they are up to January 3rd now. My NOA is dated January 19th, so logic would indicate I should get SOMETHING in two weeks. But, of course, logic doesn't apply to the USCIS, so using the standard calculation that mean 8 weeks.

Still not worried. sad.gif

Waiting is the name of this game..... I submitted my I-751 Form in July 06. The time was up on Sep 16 07. I am still waiting for the approval of my I-751. I call every 30 days and get the same answer"Waiting for Officer Review" or something like that. I scheduled an Infopass for Nov 13. If I don't get a satisfactory answer then, I will be applying for the N-400. Anybody applied around the same time as I did and is still waiting?

They are only up to January of 2007...so unless your case gets transferred to CSC, which started to happen in July, you won't hear anything for awhile.

Sorry about the confusion but my I-751 was received on July of last year. I have waitied over a year to get it approved. My NOA extending traveling and work expired on Sep 14th of this year. They are reviewing cases received in Jan 07 so they should have reviewed mine almost 6 months ago.

sorry for reading wrong... yes, you definitely need an Infopass...and it sucks that you'll be eligible for N-400 and you haven't even received the unconditional card yet... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR NSC & USCIS! mad.gif
