Hi all! I am writting in regards to the change of address after entering US.
Ok let me explain what happened to me when I came to US. Actually my address was changed before I enter the US and as I have read in some of the postings that I can give my new address to the immigration officer at POE. I tried doing so, but the officer gave me the USCIS web address saying that I can have the address change online. Well the next day I went online and filled in AR11. Now my question is, Does this really works? In that form I was only asked about the date of entry, old address and new address and off course my name and DOB. I am worried about what if it doesn't work and my green card get lost? Has anyone any idea how long it takes for the green card to come usually? and is there any other way to inform USCIS about the change of address?
Any feed back would be highly appreciated. thx! smile.gif
