We just received our packet 3 from Montreal and have a question???
I thought I read somewhere the DS-230 had to filled out online and then printed so it had a bar-code on it?? But my instructions from the consulate read "complete and return immeditately to this office the enclosed From DS-230, parts 1 and 2...." The form is enclosed in hard copy.

Hmm, no barcode on the DS-230. You might have heard this in the IR1 forum for people who are submitting their DS-230 to NVC. When NVC sends instructions they point you to the link to fill out the form (they don't sent a hard copy) and provide you with a hard copy cover sheet (barcode) to return with the DS-230.
