Antother update on my case,
As you know we were put on Ap on Sep. 20th......Lagos Embassy sent for the security check the very next mor.....They recived it completed it sent it back to lagos all by the 28th of sep.....Called the DC office again today and told them all the information I knew about my case and wanted to know what is happening now......The Info is this.....The police check is completed and he cleared everything ......Lagos is now waiting on a security clearence from Libya......Once that comes through then he will be given his visa ....that is what im told..........

Advice to anyone on AP.......Keep calling the DC office....Do not give up....Call everyday get as much Information as you can....Keep track of names of the people you talk to....If you dont like or understand the answer you get call them back even if it is 2, 3, 4 times in a day......Every time I call I get new information.....Be specfic with your questions.....When you learn a new piece of information dont ask them ...Tell them this is what I know about my case.....Example.....I was told that the security check was completed and sent back to Lagos however they were waiting for another request from Lagos to finish the case......When I called today....I told them .....Yes Im calling to get an update on my Husbands case....case number.......they asked he had his interview on Sep 20th? I said yes he did....I did not give them a chance to say anything else ...I went right into this is what I know about my Husbands case.........And told them everything I knew.......That is how I learned about the New information about waiting for a security clearence from Libya and the fact that My husbands security check from here came back clean......So .......KEEP CALLING......Dont give up and dont take no for an answer.......and always be nice....Do not get mean with them or yell......Keep calm and in control and you will catch more flies with honey........For me every new piece of information helps me feel like Im so not in the dark about things and I also know that things are moving along......The main thing is DONT GIVE UP.........Will keep you upto date and any new developements .....Thanks everyboday for your Encourging messages........Love to everybody

Well I cant make heads or tails of what is really happening with my case.......I called the DC office again and talked with a man named Chris.....I have talked to him before.....He assures me that our AP/Security check that Lagos requested is done and results sent back to Lagos.....There was nothing in the report that would prevent my Husband from getting his visa......When I aksed him or told him about what the other operators were telling me about having to get a Security clearence from Libya or the Minister of Forign affairs in Libya he said he has never heard of anything like that at all.....That the reason it was sent to the DC office was because of Libya and they did the securtiy check here through the states....That was the very reason for the Security check here......So Who do I belive??? Any advice??? I could use some.....LOL
