Our interview is November 2nd. If we get the approval and the visa on the 5th. I was hoping we could return together. Currently I am set up to return through Ft Lauderdale. Can she return that way with me or do we need to go through Miami? Please Help!

Fort Lauderdale is an International Airport, right? Of course it is. No problem.

That was a question I asked the CO who interviewed us and she said POE in Fort Lauderdale will be no problem. Just be prepared that it could be some time since lately depending on the time your flight arrives it is taking at least 45 minutes to get through immigration and the final processing takes a little while dry.gif

Thanks. I just was not sure if there were only certain POE's that you had to go through.

Mike,

Bogotá is handing out visas 2 days after the interview, so if you have yours scheduled for 11/02/07, you won't get the visa until 11/06/07. They might give it to you on 11/05, but plan for 11/06. We had our interview on 9/27, picked up the visa on 10/01 and flew back home on 10/02. We also went though Miami and since it was a Tuesday the place was empty, only 1 person in front of us and the immigration officer took only about 15 minutes to process my husband.

Diana, Mucho Gracias, I am glad I gave a couple of days extra.
