Hello everybody!!!!
Wanted to give an update on my case......As you know we are going through the AP process.......I have been told 100 different things from the DC office......well I think I understand a little more........They have already conducted and completed one or part of the back ground check and they are waiting for Lagos to request something else....what that is I dont know.....I do know right now we are waiting on Lagos......I called my congressmens office today, They will get involved on Oct 20th if I do not hear from them by then.....She informed me that Lagos is the largest Visa fraud embassy in the world......They take their time to make sure they do every possible check.....Due to the Visa fraud, Scams and such that come from Nigeria...So she asked me to sit tight until Oct 20th and that she has a contact in Nigeria that she can get in touch with.....Please wish me well and keep me in your thoughts.......all the comments and encourgement I recieve do help keep me going.....Maybe things are going all ok and Im just getting impatient.......Just a little note.....I dont know how Im doing it but I have been told now more then 3 times that I have information on my case that I should not have and even have a little more then what the congressmans office can normaly get......I guess that is a good thing.......well until next time........Love to everybody

I noticed that and told someone else on VJ to send you a PM to find out if you can give them advice as they are sitting in AR in Lagos as well and don't have any information on what's going on or even why they are in AR. Good Luck! I have hope that everything will go well.

A little more Info...
No Email from Lagos as of yet, Have E-mailed them every day since the 20th of sep with no reply......Called the DC office and asked more specific questions.....Informed them of all the information I had,I Know that my Husband had a security check that was done and completed and sent back to Lagos, Was told that Lagos was to request somthing else but was not sure what that was so I was calling to find out if Lagos had made the Request and wanted to know what it was they were to request, It was then explained to me that the initail security check has been done and completed and sent back to Lagos, If Lagos wants a second security check then they are to request it however if they do not need a 2nd one then my Husband will be called to get his visa. So we are waiting on Lagos at this point. I am hoping that because the security check was done and completed so fast that they will not require a 2nd one........A waiting game now......
