Your sister can visit you thru a tourist visa. If you are planning to bring your sister and live with you in america, you should first be a US citizen and then you can file a petition for your sister which probably takes 15-20 years. I'm not that sure

Read the bulletin: http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin...letin_3761.html

The bulletin shows that if you filed to bring a brother or sister to the U.S. in 1985 the embassy would now be processing the petition.

good.gif Probably right it takes up to 20 years to get and immigrations visa for a sibling and you cannot file for the sibling until you are a US Citizen.

good.gif Claudeth is trying to find her sister someone. I told her that she should change her college studies from engineering to registered nurse. The U.S. is importing lots of nurses from the RP.
