Maybe I am just getting really antsy but I want him here now. His visa was finally approved and he went to Ankara Monday and did whatever and left his passport to get his visa in it. They only return it UPS in Turkey so he is staying in a hotel waiting for it. Of course tomorrow being Friday UPS does not run.
Does anyone know how much longer he will have to wait? or have any experience in how long it takes to get the visa?
After what I read on the MENA forum about the misdelivered Egyptian passport I am starting to get worried.

Just an update. He went to the embassy today and they have not put the visa in his passport yet.........they have had it since Monday. Since they are not open Sat. or Sunday, he is looking at getting in Tuesday at the earlies. Meanwhile he is having to pay for hotel, food, etc while he waits. I know it is his countries fault we have no embassy there but it is not his fault. Maybe by Tuesday or Wednesday he will have his visa.

It has been nine days and he still does not have his visa. Ankara is taking their sweet time and he cannot even go home to Iran because they have his passport. He is out of money and now they have responded to his email saying they are still working on it.
How long does it take to put a visa in a passport?
